I'm sorry (to all the Kaiju artists here)
Grumpyi just find it kinda boring and annoying now that almost everyone who's doing Kaiju pictures, now feel the need to do just what Matt Frank did and redesign every Kaiju they can think of and and create some in depth biography about the character.
I'd had the idea to do the same thing since about a year before Matt did.
Unfortunately for me, he did it so well that I didn't feel the need to have to do it anymore.
So really, just keep up the designs, but you don't need to come up with some cheesy name to follow "Godzilla," and you don't need the cheesy biography.
It's gotten very old.
If you want to post things on DeviantArt, then it should be about the art.
I'm sorry if i have offended anyone, or if someone had used the idea before Matt.
I'm sure I'm watching most of the people who this is aimed toward because I like your art.

I don't waste my time suspending disbelief.
I honestly draw what I want and I'm tired of drawing "redesigns" I simply do designs, my own vision, to exist with the original, because the original will always be my favorite. A good deal of the time I draw things my way because I can, and drawing things in context would be great, if I had the ability.
I don't read comments under drawings anymore because they are A: long. or B: A fucking rant about something irrelevant. Something I've been guilty of myself. I'm man enough to admit it.
I have my own original Kaiju some show up here, but for the most part, I keep them to myself. The internet is a cruel place that loves to rip ideas from peoples hands. I've been a victim of it too many times to go on a huge sharing spree.
I honestly don't feel like Matt should be the only one allowed to have redesigns with long ass bios, and I'm very sick of this constant just bitter anger amongst the kaiju artists lately. Everyone is acting like MC's and jumping at each others throat at the drop of a hat.
There are a lot of artists' on here now they simply use their art, and you know who you are, to attack other artists. It's turning into a sick sad cycle. I honestly think opinion and emotion have swirled painfully out of control here and got mixed up in the long run.
I'm just genuinely annoyed that everyone is taking time out of their busy day to tell other artists how to do their thing. Get over it. Sorry if I've offended.
